Hi, I’m BeCCA

I have lived in Castle Rock for most of my life and my husband and I are excited to be raising our three kids here now! GOURDgeous is a fun way for me to be involved in my community and bring the beauty of fall to everyone! I’ve always had a passion for agriculture—ever since college, where I spent time volunteering on farms and learning how much heart goes into growing the food we eat. Supporting local growers has always mattered to me, and that naturally extended to pumpkins, too.

While living in Rocky Ford for two years, we got to see up close how hard our local farmers work to produce the beautiful crops we enjoy. Blending my love for agriculture with a love for design, I created a way to bring seasonal beauty to your porch while giving back to our local farming community. Because I believe the outside of your home should feel just as warm and welcoming as the inside.

Thank you so much for supporting our small business and local Colorado farms! I am looking forward to giving your porch a simple, beautiful seasonal touch.

The Froese family is deeply rooted in agriculture and family values. Jacob and Kerry Froese both grew up in Colorado’s farming communities, and after marrying in 2013, they pursued their shared dream by purchasing their very own farm.

Today, they grow alfalfa, triticale, and—everyone’s fall favorite—pumpkins! Over the years, their operation has expanded to include a small cow-calf ranching business, which they manage side-by-side with their farming.

Farming is truly a family affair for the Froeses. Their three kids—Adrienne (10), Eli (7), and Adalynn (5)—play an active role in the day-to-day work. Whether it’s riding horses, checking calves, or helping out in the pumpkin field, there’s always something to do. Eli proudly holds the title of “farm manager,” keeping everyone on track with his enthusiasm and leadership. Their dedication and hardwork is reflected in the beautiful harvest we get to share in.

We deeply appreciate the Froese family as they help us create seasonal memories for our community.

MEET OUR FARMERS!

LETS DECORATE….BUT MAKE IT SUSTAINABLE!

We get it — holiday decorating can sometimes feel wasteful, especially when it all ends up in the trash. That’s why we’ve built sustainability into the heart of our business. Once the season ends, your pumpkins don’t go to waste — they go back to the fields! All leftover pumpkins are collected (free pick up included in every package) and fed to local cows and goats, providing a nutritious treat that’s as good for them as it is for the planet. Pumpkins are not only packed with fiber and vitamins, but they also support healthy digestion and even act as a natural dewormer for the livestock. So while your porch looks beautiful this fall, you can feel even better knowing that your decor is giving back — one happy animal at a time
